Background and Responsibilities:

‍Dave began his insurance career in 1978, holding positions in sales and marketing for both the Property & Casualty and Life and Health business for the Joseph L. Vozza Agency. Dave was named to the Board of Directors in 1980, elected Vice President in 1983 and President in 1989. Dave was involved in the creation of the first municipal (Bergen) and school board Joint Insurance Funds (JIFs) in the State of New Jersey in 1983-1985. The Agency was instrumental in creating many subsequent Municipal Joint Insurance Funds (JIFs) as well as the Municipal Excess Liability Fund (MEL). Over the years the JIFs have expanded to insure more than 72% the municipalities in the State. Dave serves on the coverage committees of the Bergen and Morris JIF’s and the MEL, and the Bergen and South Bergen JIF’s safety committees. In 1990 Dave along with several other insurance agents throughout the State joined together to form the first Joint Insurance Fund for employee benefits commonly referred to as a HIF (Health Insurance Fund).Vozza designed, implemented and managed self-insured programs for municipalities throughout the State.

Dave currently serves as Program Manager for the North Jersey MunicipalEmployee Benefits Fund, the Municipal Reinsurance Health Insurance Fund (MRHIF), which provides coverage for the Six participating regional HIFs covering over 183 municipalities and school boards.

Dave is Chairman of the New Jersey Restaurant Workers Compensation Safety Trust, a workers compensation dividend safety group that insures over 250 restaurant members in the State of New Jersey. The Trust has returned dividends to its members, which have averaged over 23% annually since the group’s inception over 30 years ago.

Dave has designed programs for both Property & Casualty and employee benefits ranging from tradition fully insured products to alternative methods of risk transfer/sharing including loss sensitive and retention programs, JIFs, safety groups and partially self-funded programs.

Responsibilities:

‍Randi joined The Vozza Agency in July 2007 and currently holds the position of Account Executive for both Health and Life Products and Services. Her core responsibilities include the daily servicing of Public Entities / members of the North Jersey Municipal Employee Benefits underwriting in the capacity of the Program Manager. Randi also oversees the management of commercial self- funded health programs for the balance of The Vozza Agency’s block of business.

Background:

‍Randi’s background in the health insurance industry includes over 27 years of health claim administration of which 18 years was with Prudential HealthCare in the large group department and 9 years as Vice President, Director of Operations for a Third Party Administrator handling claims administration for self-funded plans of Public Entities, union funds and commercial accounts. Randi’s responsibilities while Director of Operations included the implementation and daily servicing of 50+ clients and over 20,000 employee lives. responsibilities also included Network and Vendor Management and contracts, PBM (Prescription Benefit Manager) contracts and services, HIPPA and ERISA compliance, Re-insurance reporting and claim filing, plan design review and implementation as well as all other functions of a claims organization.

Responsibilities:‍

Robin is the Underwriting Manager at The Vozza Agency, specializing in Public Entity accounts. She handles the daily servicing of Public Entity accounts as well as large Commercial Accounts and oversees the Underwriting Department. She also handles renewal negotiations, renewal and new business proposals as well as policy review.

Background:

Robin jointed the Vozza Agency in 1987 where she has spent 30 years specializing in Public Entity accounts. Prior to joining the Vozza Agency she worked for 10 years as the Assistant Manager at Eifert, French & Company in Tenafly NJ. At that firm she also specialized in Public Entity accounts which was during the formation of the JIF/MEL. She handled several towns that later became charter members of the JIF/MEL.

Responsibilities:

‍Brittany joined The Vozza Agency in September of 2008 and currently holds the position of Sales and Marketing manager, and she also manages commercial accounts and oversees the personal lines accounts. She is responsible for overseeing and the coordination of the Wellness program for the North Jersey Municipal HIF and its components as well as finding new programs and resources for the 11 member towns totaling over 450 participants.

‍Prior to joining The Vozza Agency she attended Monmouth University from 2004-2008, during which time she worked part time for Benefit Pathfinders Associates and The Vozza Agency Inc.

Responsibilities:

‍Olga is the Claims Manager for The Vozza Agency. She joined the Vozza Agency in January 1995 and has 22 years of experience in her field and 32 in the insurance industry. Olga runs the in house loss control and claims department. She is responsible for the daily servicing of personal, commercial and Public Entity claims. She also prepares detailed loss analysis reports to spot trends and implements loss control procedures to correct them. Olga also attends Public Entity Safety Meetings and helps keep the safety programs of our Public Entity clients on track.

Background:

‍Prior to joining The Vozza Agency Olga worked for another retail insurancebroker handling multiple aspects of the insurance industry.

Jennifer joined The Vozza Agency in March 2024 and currently serves as Account Manager for personal lines and small commercial lines.
